As a mom I often feel inadequate in the eyes of the world as if being a mom isn’t enough and that my influence needs to soar beyond the walls of my home.
Much of it comes from a genuine heart, I love Jesus, and I want to make him known! I have ideas and dreams that "need" to be fulfilled! But I have let it easily take over and be a source of discouragement.
When I have to fill out the forms about what I do for a job, it can feel like I’m writing,
“JUST a mom”
But I am not JUST a mom, I am a woman doing my absolute best raising these four kids -
the next leaders!
The next teachers!
The next generation of parents!

Mothers, we are faithfully obeying the call of God on our lives! God is not interested in how much influence we want, but in what He has given us. He isn’t interested in building our kingdom but His.
But we can only do that when we surrender our will, and walk in obedience today in what He has given us.
Being a mom is hard! God said life would be hard at times, but He also said that He would prepare us and “gently lead those that have young.” (Isaiah 40:11)
Being a mother is not an endless groaning, or loss of purpose, it is our purpose. God promises that what He calls us to is for our good and His glory!! Nothing is wasted in motherhood.
God has been glorified in my life by using motherhood to show me how much I need him, and giving me more of Himself, more grace, more love, more replacing my waywardness with peace and an inexpressible joy in my “job” as a mom.
God chose you to be the biggest
i n f l u e n c e r in their life
You can teach them.
You can show them...
--->Their need for Jesus,
--->The Love of Jesus,
--->How to serve and be hospitable
--->How to love others, unselfishly
--->How to be self controlled when emotions are high
--->How to be patient in trial
--->How to have joy in any circumstance
--->how to pursue God’s glory not their own
And through every sleepless night. Every tantrum. Every disobedient moment. Every sacrifice. God is working in you, reminding you of His gospel truths that transform you and your family.
It is there, when we are growing our roots into Jesus Christ and letting His word train and transform us instead of the world, we discover that being a mom is a calling of the highest degree🙌🏼👊🏼
